There was no way we were going to offer this wine - it was too inexpensive...there was no way it could be worth a darn. Well, we tasted this wine for the first time yesterday and changed our minds in a split second. For $3.99 per bottle (yes, you read that price correctly) this blend of Grenache and Syrah is the bomb. We bought the last 64 cases available in NC (hopefully they are going to order more!) and are pleased to be able to offer it to you today.
Is this wine going to change your life? No. Are your friends going to taste it at your next dinner party and wax poetic about it for hours and hours? No. Is this the ultimate Wednesday night cheeseburger and fries wine? Yes. Is this the ultimate pool party summer sipper? Yes. Is this the perfect...well, you get the idea here.
So - $3.99 per bottle for some tasty vino. Pretty sure I've paid that for a 12oz bottle of water at the airport.
Just an extra note - not sure if this is a great Father's Day Gift...unless Dad is super thrifty!!
