Pitting different winemakers and wineries against each other has been wildly popular with our customers, so this weekend we decided to pull out the big guns. Jayson Pahlmeyer and Paul Hobbs are two of the most well known names in California wine and it's time to see how these dynamos stack up against each other! Hobbs has consulted with Peter Michael, Lewis, Vine Cliff, Fisher and Chalone - and as you will taste on Saturday, he personally has a great portfolio of California wines. Pahlmeyer wines, on the flip side, have been made by a roster of winemakers that reads like the California Winemaking Hall of Fame - they have employed the likes of Randy Dunn (Dunn Vineyards), Bob Levy (Harlan Estate), Helen Turley (Colgin, Martinelli) and now Erin Green who cut her teeth with Turley at Colgin.

One of the best parts of this tasting is that these wineries will offer something for everyone - big Cali cab, pinot noir for all you pinot Lovers out there, and some of the best chardonnay California is capable of producing. In the spirit of March Madness we will talley the votes and release what the favorite wine of the tasting is on Monday (perhaps with a special discount!).

So come on in this weekend and taste some of California's best - vote for your favorite, and see who wins!

We'll see you Saturday!
