The 2007 vintage in California is about as hyped up as you can get - and from $10 wines to $70 wines the quality is outstanding across the board. That is why, this weekend, we are putting up some of the best wines we've tasted from the 2007 vintage. Everything from Sangiovese to Cabernet these wines simply rocked. Here is a short list of just some of what we will be featuring (there will be more!):

2007 Robert Foley "The Griffin" - Who doesn't want a Robert Foley wine that has huge fruit and smooth tannin for only $35. This is a brand new wine for the winemaking master behind cult wines like Switchback Ridge. We think you guys are going to go ga ga over this stuff. It is a blend of Cabernet, Petite Sirah and Merlot - Foley calls it his Recession Red.

2007 Jeff Runquist Sangiovese - We know you love the Petite Sirah - but have you ever had Jeff Runquist's Sangiovese? It may be his best wine but only 14 cases are brought into the State of NC every year. Don't worry, we snagged some for you and we'll have it up this weekend so you can check it out for yourself.

2007 Turn 4 Cabernet - Can someone say "Showstopper"? This new release from Bennett Lane Winery (yes, they make $90 Cabernets) is a dream machine for less than $25. One of the best sub $25 Cabs we have tasted in a long time!

2007 Caymus Cabernet - For all you who missed it last time - we're putting it out again!!

2007 Michael David Petite Petit - A consistent favorite that, for only $15, very well make you think twice about this wine with circus elephants on the label. This is BIG stuff

2007 Wall Cabernet - You know you love this wine - now just wait until you try the 2007 vintage of this gem.

If you made it this far you should also know that we are also going to be tasting, this weekend, what could be our Wine of the Year. It is, by far, the best red wine we have tasted yet in 2009 and we bought everything there is in NC. It can be yours for only $39.99 which also happens to be the lowest price in the Country. You don't want to miss this!
