You may remember that we chose 2010 Marcoux Cotes Du Rhone as our wine of the year last year. Given our support of Marcoux we have bought literally the last 71 bottles of 2010 available at wholesale.
When we first told you about this wine we waxed poetic for paragraphs about how much we LOVE Marcoux, and Eric Solomon Selections, and how 2010 is an epic vintage in the Rhone....yada yada yada.
Now, at $17.99 per bottle, we have to focus on price for just a second. At this price it may be the best wine in the store when looking at quality / price ratios. It basically drinks like a baby Chateauneuf du Pape at a not so Chateauneuf price point. If you've already tried the Marcoux Cotes du Rhone and loved it like we did, you may not want to miss the 2010 Marcoux Lorentine Lirac!
