Triton - our best selling Spanish wine EVER - is back!

TRITON IS BACK!
http://www.vinolist.com/pics/0/4d/06240001000108_e085926.jpg IS NOW

For some of you, this e-mail is the equivalent of Christmas in May. Two years ago, we wrote you and told you that Triton was no more - and there were some tears shed. Vinas del Cenit, the winery behind Triton, had been bought by a group of investors and they had decided to kill the project. That was a shame because Triton had become our best selling Spanish wine, our fastest selling Spanish wine, and probably our most talked about wine - EVER. Well, as it turns out, winemaking wizard and native New Zealander Amy Leigh Hopkinson kept the name Triton so she could potentially make the wine some time in the future. Three years later and VOILA - we have the brand new Triton and it is better than ever (and with a new, lower price!).

This bad boy is 100% Tempranillo from vines that are an average of 75 years old (and that is the AVERAGE!). If you’re not big on “finesse” wines, then this is basically your dream come true.

We bought everything that came into the State of North Carolina - and that was not a lot of wine. There are 50 six packs available - only 25 cases. This wine is being offered on a first come, first serve basis and we anticipate that the wine will sell out before the end of the weekend. We'll have it on the machine starting right now until we run out if you want to come in and taste!

2008 TRITON
