It's true; it's a brilliant vintage, the last in a series of four fantastic vintages. Most of us would love to take a few of these brilliant 2007 Chateauneuf's home, but we don't want to have to sell our youngrest child in order to be able to afford a bottle. All the hype for the 2007 wines has started to lead some to overlook the wonderful wines made in 2006 (a great year that got sandwhiched between two exceptional years). Andre Brunel's Chateauneuf's are as good as anyone's, and 2006 is a brilliant vintage for the best to show their abilities. Perhaps 2006 isn't as famous as 2007, but it's every bit as delicious.
