Obviously you guys remember the Hilary Goldschmidt Cabernet from the Holidays. You know, the Oakville Cabernet made from grapes that used to go into Opus One? So we figured heck, if the Oakville Cabernet is that great, the Alexander Valley Cabernet (named after the founders second daughter, Katherine) has to be tasty - and it's less expensive! So we tasted it...and it is awesome. Then you, our wonderful customers, tasted it in the Silver Oak blind tasting and it got 25% of all the votes! One of our highest totals ever.
Only problem - right now there isn't much in the stores, but there will be 112 cases arriving on February 19th. Will it sell out prior to it even getting here? Maybe- anything is possible. That said, if you loved the Hilary Goldschmidt Cabernet you are going to really dig this stuff.
