Doing a lot of business with certain wineries comes with perks...and the greatest perk of all is when you get to help launch a product to the general public. That is why we are pleased to be able to bring you the inaugural vintage of Ladera "Stile Block" Cabernet. You may have heard of "single vineyard" wines, or wines that are made entirely with grapes from one single location. Stile Block takes that concept to the next level, in that the grapes for this wine were taken from one single block (or portion) of one of their most prized vineyards on Howell Mountain. Vineyard blocks typically have different sun exposure, rootstocks, soils etc. and the Stile Block is one of the gems in the estate.
We tasted this wine earlier this week, and just knew we had to feature it this Saturday, for free. While not exactly what we would consider a "value" wine by any means, at $44.99 it is still at a price point we can enjoy with a good steak on a Saturday night. Oh, and the wine is ridiculously good!
Swing in this Saturday from 2-4pm, drink some amazing juice, maybe buy a bottle for your first spring cookout, and, above all else, have a great time!
