Charlotte based wine importer Eric Solomon is on a roll. Like, the guy is just absolutely crushing it right now and we are super excited he lives in Charlotte so we can get access to some of these outstanding values.
We first tasted this Grenache last year and were blown away - I mean the package, the taste, the price - it was a triple threat. Well, good things sometimes take time in the wine business and it took a good long while for this wine to finally show up. So this morning when it arrived we were like kids on Christmas morning.
If you are into sub $10 awesome wine you might want to grab yourself some of this bad boy. The most powerful wine critic in the world recently said after tasting the Altes wines, "As I told Eric Solomon, at these ridiculously low prices, consumers will never suspect the wines are at this level of quality." We could not agree more...
So here we go again - more silly good wine at scary good prices from your friend and neighbor Eric Solomon. I guess now when we drink some of his Spanish gems we can really say we are drinking local :)

So yeah, we realize this is not for everyone :) That being said, we ordered one of these 5 Liter bottles a few weeks ago and it sold in 15 minutes...so we went back and bought all they had.
So now we have 10 of these beauties, and they are perfect if you need about 6-7 bottles of red for a party this summer. Bigger is always better when it comes to bottle size (at least we think so) and these things are super fun at parties!!
