The new ceramic bottle for Mer Soleil's unoaked Chardonnay is causing quite a stir in the wine world. Designed by Charlie Wagner, winemaker and owner at Mer Soleil, the bottle is intended to visually convey the cement tanks used in the fermenting and ageing of Silver Chardonnay. We've always loved the wine, and now we LOVE the packaging. If you match that with the fact we are bringing this wine to you at the lowest price available in the US, we're pretty sure this is a home run.

FREE Tasting!

Can you tell the difference between Cabernet and Pinot Noir? What about Zinfandel and Merlot? Now is the time to find out...

We do all sorts of blind tastings where you try and guess the price, or the wine (Caymus, Silver Oak etc.) but we have never done a blind tasting where you try and guess what grape varietal you are tasting. So, this Saturday, we are going to do our twist on the "Guess the correct grape varietal" blind tasting.

We'll have four wines out to taste for FREE, all blind, and you will have the opportunity to guess the grape varietal. Should you guess the grape varietal correctly, you will get a 15% discount on that wine - no questions asked! It should be a very simple yet very fun game. We blind taste all the time and most of the time we do not guess correctly - but for those few times that we do, bragging rights last a long, LONG time!

All in all we just want it to be a fun filled afternoon and who doesn't need a little vino now that school is back in session...we know we do!

We hope to see you Saturday and as always, thank you for your business!

Cheers!
