We're always on the lookout for amazing "daily drinkers". You know what we're talking about - the wines that you love to open on Tuesday night with a Burger or on "Pizza Night" with the family. Well, when you get Rhone winemaking wizard Michel Gassier together with US Wine Importer Eric Solomon and the wine costs less than $10 you can usually count on it being a winner! (it also doesn't hurt that 2009 was a fantastic vintage in southeast France!)
The 2009 Cercius Rouge is a blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah aged entirely in concrete while the 2009 Cercius Blanc is 70% Grenache Blanc and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Both wines are about as easy drinking as it gets - and if you don't believe us we have them both on our tasting machines for you to try out!
