This picture does not do the beauty of these wines justice! It's almost summertime and we have just received quite possible the best dry rosés we have ever offered. Many of you may recall the 2009 Puech-Haut "Prestige" that we offered back in January – the $19.99 red wine from the Languedoc that sold out in 24 hours.

Well, it turns out Puech-Haut makes some rosé as well, and it is delicious (we had a bottle of each over the weekend!). World renowned wine critic Robert Parker seems to be fan as well. On his bulletin board he was recently asked what should be asked of winemaking phenom Philippe Cambie in an upcoming interview and Parker stated:

"Tell him to make more rose!....the two 2010 dry roses I tasted from Puech-Haut last Friday...one grenache and cinsault, the other 100% mourvedre....were just brilliant wines…I put my money where my mouth goes and told the importer I wanted to purchase several cases...the 100% mourvedre rose may not be any better...just slightly bigger and more structured...which may actually make it less popular...but serious stuff...both of them...the floral, intense aromatics...whoa!"

These wines are super limited – only 28 cases of the "Prestige" and only 10 cases of the Tete de Belier. Only 75 cases of the Tete de Belier came into the US…

We have attached a photo of both bottles, glass stoppers and all, given the packaging and color of the wines are awesome!
