So, as you may or may not have heard, Runquist 1448 is back in stock. This wine may be THE most popular wine under $20 that we carry. That being said, last year there was a feeding frenzy on this wine and we only had 20+ cases. This year we have north of 50 cases, so hopefully there will be enough to go around!!
Jeff Runquist makes great wine. His wines are the ultimate crowd pleasers - the type of wines you can pour for your friends and people will be talking about them for days. That is why we are putting together a tasting of almost all of his wines, including the entry level 1448. Love a wine that over-delivers for the price? 1448 is your new "go to"....Love Petite Sirah? Try to find one better than Runquist....Love Sangiovese? Nobody does it better in California...Love Zinfandel? This may even be better than Klinker Brick :)

If there is any winery that is more popular than Runquist, it is probably Orin Swift. The Prisoner, Saldo, Papillon and Machete are all HUGE sellers for us. Now comes a new wine, Palermo. Basically Orin Swift buys more than they need to create the $55 Papillon wine, and the leftover juice they have decided to bottle as "Palermo". Should we have any left come Saturday we will be sure to put it on the tasting machine, but if history serves as any indicator, this stuff is going to go quick!
