We picked up the rest of the 2009 vintage our distributor had in stock and without even sending out a newsletter, you guys bought up our entire stock in just one week. Message received...you want more Capataz.
The Malbec grape has generally only proven interesting in the elevated foothills of the Argentine Andes, and Napa winemaker Darioush Khaledi has a knack for turning interesting into amazing. This is the first non Napa wine that Darioush has crafted, and he has only rolled out a measly 400 six packs. Hailing from the Tupungato region of Mendoza, this wine is all about power and plushness.
So here is the 2010 Capataz for you, just arrived in time for the storm and ready to roll! If big, intense and powerful Malbec is right in your wheelhouse....you're gonna need you some of this!
