It's fall now, and in the wine business that means new vintages are released every week. Most of the time we just cycle through, without any type of fanfare, but when a wine as popular as 1448 releases a new vintage we feel compelled to tell you about it.
If you're not familiar with 1448, it is a "kitchen sink" blend from winemaking phenom Jeff Runquist, comprised of Petite Sirah, Barbera, Petite Verdot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignane, Souzao, Cabernet Franc and Touriga. If that's not a little bit of everything, I don't know what is!
