Darioush, aesthetically, is really unlike any other winery in Napa Valley. Hopefully the picture above gives you a rough idea of what we are talking about...it is pretty over the top.
Good news though! While the architecture may be over the top, the wines created at this estate are right on point. The Caravan Cabernet at $44.99 is actually a pretty strong Napa Valley value (can you call a $45 wine a value?) and the Estate Cabernet drinks like an $80 red wine should...large and in charge. The Chardonnay we will be pouring puts many rivals to shame and their Argentinian Malbec, a new project for this Estate, may be our favorite red coming out of that country right now.
So it's a holiday weekend, and we thought "Hey, why not open up some nice wine for people to drink on Saturday". So, being impulsive like we are, we're gonna go ahead and open $200 of wine for you to try on Saturday absolutely free. No pay us $10 and we'll credit you back if you buy some wine nonsense. You're too good to us for us to try that nonsense on you. Just plain ole free wine.
