Here at Winestore we taste a lot of wine searching for the next big thing. And when we say "a lot" of wine, we're talking enough to fill up a swimming pool every couple weeks (tough life!). Several weeks ago we had an old friend reach out and introduce us to Owen Roe Winery. Simply put, these wines are awesome. Many people out there on the street are saying Owen Roe is the next Orin Swift (The Prisoner, anyone?), and we might just have to agree! Owen Roe has a lineup of reds that are just as tasty, robust & a heck of lot cheaper than their Orin Swift competition.
We were so impressed with this lineup, we convinced Merritt Olson, nation sales director for Owen Roe, to come to Charlotte on Thursday night and pour her four favorite reds for FREE! There's a little something for everyone - Full bodied Cabernet? Check. Bombastic red blends? Check. High end $50 show stoppers? Check.
We'll be pouring the following four reds at both winestore locations, Southpark & Blakeney, from 6-8pm on Thursday night so go ahead and call all of your friends to let them know they now have plans for a FREE Thursday night wine tasting.
