You may remember that the 2008 Borsao "Berola", at only $14.99, won our Caymus Special Selection wine tasting a few weeks ago. So when we learned that one of the entry level wines from Borsao was back in the market at a price of only $6.99, we just had to give it a taste.
Seriously people, this may be the best $6 wine we have ever tasted. I mean, this is a pretty silly value going on here...we picked up 20 cases last Friday for both our stores and by mid-day Sunday they were all sold - simply by people coming in the store, tasting the wine on the machines, and going plain bonkers when they found out the wine was only $6.99.
So that is why we are alerting you now to this amazing value find. We'll keep it on the machine for you to taste but rest assured - if you're looking for some good "March Madness" wine, some good "Hey, it's Wednesday and I need a drink" wine, or you just want a darn good bottle of wine - this is for you.
For all of you who refuse to buy wine for $6.99 because it's "too cheap" - feel free to delete this e-mail....but as they say "Don't knock it until you try it"!
